Work consists of the following: contract no. 1 - general construction: rehabilitation of the primary digester sludge pump room, in the basement of the existing primary digester control building. Rehabilitation of primary digester tank no. 2, including but not limited to a new digester tank cover with specified appurtenance and gas safety equipment, a new submersible mixer, and new instruments (temperature and level measurement). Modification for a new access chamber, including a new ladder, manway door, hatch and jib crane are included under bid alternate no. 1. Under bid alternate no. 2, replacement of the existing ladder to the roof of the primary digester control building with a set of stairs to provide safer accessibility. Contract no. 2- heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) associated with the upgrade of the solids handling facilities. Building heating and all associated piping and appurtenances furnishing and installing all hvac equipment, including louvers contract no. 3 - electrical construction: general demolition of existing equipment and installation of panels ,wiring, conduits and associated electrical work, including scada improvements and gas monitoring equipment associated with the upgrade of the solids handling facilities. Scada improvements related to new process controls and alarms.
