Work includes, but is not limited to, pavement markings to be removed shall be marked by the contractor or subcontractor no less than 48 hours prior to removal; saw cutting, removing, and disposing of existing deteriorated bridge deck and approach slab concrete. Removal operations shall be conducted so that the traveling public is protected, and so that interference with the traveling public using the structure is minimized; removal of portions of present structure (class 2 and 3): pneumatic hammers and chipping tools shall not be operated at an angle exceeding 60 degrees relative to the surface of the slab; etc, see attached file.
