The Department of Veterans Affairs (Lexington VAMC/VISN-9) has issued a presolicitation for contractors to provide community-based temporary housing and case management services for homeless Veterans through the VA's Community Based Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program. The required services include transitional housing (minimum 12, up to 20 beds), therapeutic low-barrier services, and case management. Typical lengths of stay are 30–90 days, not to exceed 180 days. The contract is structured as a Base Year plus four option years. The opportunity is currently open.
