Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs

The agency provided updates on staffing, budget, and the American Rescue Plan (ARP). There were virtual mental health trainings and AmeriCorps updates. The commission is supporting response/recovery efforts of severe weather events. The commission also assisted with distribution of hand sanitizer donation and FEMA Donations.
