Key initiatives include completing the Flood Control System, maintaining critical public facilities and services (Fire, Police, Utilities, Public Works), and implementing resilient infrastructure and construction standards to enhance community safety, quality of life, and economic development.

This Work Plan guides the City of Cedar Rapids Public Art Commission's strategic direction, aiming to integrate art into public spaces to build a vibrant and inclusive community. Its mission is to enrich cultural life by reflecting community diversity and vitality through art. Key goals include enhancing and broadening public art, encouraging local and regional artists, cultivating partnerships, and implementing a comprehensive maintenance plan for the art collection.

This document presents an annual evaluation and review of EnvisionCR, the City's comprehensive plan designed to provide long-range guidance for policy decisions, investment priorities, and coordinated planning efforts. The review assesses the City's progress in implementing the plan, ensuring its recommendations align with evolving community needs, City Council Priorities, and citywide goals. Key updates for 2025 include revisions to the 'ProtectCR' and 'GreenCR' narratives, along with reviews and updates of all corresponding area, neighborhood, corridor, infrastructure, and quality-of-life plans. The evaluation summarizes that out of 35 total initiatives, 11 have started, 15 are on-schedule, and 8 have been completed, building on 85 initiatives completed since 2015.
