This document presents an annual evaluation and review of EnvisionCR, the City's comprehensive plan designed to provide long-range guidance for policy decisions, investment priorities, and coordinated planning efforts. The review assesses the City's progress in implementing the plan, ensuring its recommendations align with evolving community needs, City Council Priorities, and citywide goals. Key updates for 2025 include revisions to the 'ProtectCR' and 'GreenCR' narratives, along with reviews and updates of all corresponding area, neighborhood, corridor, infrastructure, and quality-of-life plans. The evaluation summarizes that out of 35 total initiatives, 11 have started, 15 are on-schedule, and 8 have been completed, building on 85 initiatives completed since 2015.

The commission reviewed proposals for the U.S. Cellular Center Lantern project, selecting four finalists for potential interviews. They discussed the approval process for public art, reviewed the draft 2020 Work Plan, and established a timeline for the UFG Pocket Plaza Call for Artists. Additionally, the commission addressed a query regarding lighting for the League of Women Voters proposal and received an update on a grant application for a utility box art pilot program.

The commission addressed several key agenda items, including the election of officers and discussions regarding the Storm Drain Art project. Additional topics included the status of the Light Sculpture project, the Market After Dark Projection Art opportunity, and the Pocket Plaza Art, which noted the completion of hardscape and stormwater features along with ongoing sculpture creation. The commission also reviewed the 3rd Street Sculpture Trail initiative, focusing on the public art gallery collaboration with local artists.

The Public Art Commission meeting agenda included several key items. Action items centered on updating the by-laws. Discussion topics involved the Ricochet and Skyblade Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Draft Workplan for 2023. The agenda also scheduled time for public input and member updates/announcements.

The meeting included a recommendation for a $50,000 budget for the ASJ mural project. A draft of the 2022 Work plan was unanimously recommended for City Council consideration. A concept for a new mural in the MedQ, slated for installation at a Citywide Cleaners property in the spring, was discussed. A member update included information regarding a 1959 mural recently relocated to the Cherry Building.
