The City of Thousand Oaks (Public Works - Transit) issued an RFP/RFQ titled "Public Transit Operation Services" seeking a contractor to operate fixed-route, seasonal, ADA paratransit, and Senior Dial-A-Ride services beginning July 1, 2027, for the City and agencies under contract. The RFP is being released early to provide the selected proposer ~12 months to secure operations and maintenance facilities and acquire required vehicles; failure to have vehicles ready by July 1, 2027 may result in financial penalties and/or liquidated damages.
