Procure an ITS solution to be implemented on 32 vehicles that comprise the current bus fleet. The its system will provide the following services to accgov transit: the system will provide the central intelligence network by combining gps tracking with dispatch software. The avl (automatic vehicle location) hardware will identify a vehicle's exact position in real-time, while the cad (computer-aided dispatch) software will allow operators to monitor the entire fleet, communicate with drivers, and manage service disruptions or detours from our dispatch center.
