Provide a bicycle trough (runnel), 6-8 inches wide, smooth, and continuous for rolling bicycles. Use treated lumber, stone, or concrete. All fasteners must be corrosion-resistant. Provide drainage measures to prevent erosion and water accumulation. Install handrails (34–38 inches high) and guards where required.
