Work includes installation of cabling and pathways to support wired and wireless data network systems for classrooms, offices, gymnasiums, libraries, multipurpose rooms, outdoor spaces, high-density wireless environments, and other educational facilities throughout the district, including infrastructure supporting wi fi 6e, wi fi 7, multigigabit connectivity, and future standards based wireless technologies; new installation of the mdf (main distribution frame) to idf (intermediate distribution frame) and idf to ldf (local distribution frame) backbone cabling using laser-optimized om4 multi-mode fiber optic cabling, or single mode fiber optic cabling (due to distance).
