Sole source procurement for assay kits, reagents, equipment (including service and maintenance), and other needed supplies, which will be utilized by DOHMH's Public Health Laboratory (PHL) and Sexual Health Clinics on existing platforms for clinical and environmental testing for the detection and identification of carbapenemase, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and other emerging bacteria, pathogens and viruses, such as Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), COVID-19, mpox, influenza, bird flu, norovirus, trichomonas, tuberculosis and multidrug-resistant superbugs. The owner intends to enter into negotiations for a six-year agreement with Oracle America Inc. for the provision of Millennium PathNet licensed software, maintenance and support, and professional and other related services. Millennium PathNet is a Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) that was implemented at DOHMH Public Health Laboratory (PHL) to manage laboratory operations from order capture through specimen processing, results validation, regulatory reporting, and data archiving.
