The Board of Commissioners conducted a regular meeting that included a public comment period featuring discussions on an RFP for marketing services, the advocacy for a county-level community land trust, and an update on a USDA broadband technical assistance award. The 2026 budget for Corre Caminos was approved. The board also passed multiple resolutions, including the Preservation of Land and Water Rights, ratification of an agreement with the Southwest New Mexico Council of Governments with associated membership appointments, a budget adjustment request, and a resolution of support and financial commitment for Corre Caminos.
