The Grant County Comprehensive Plan serves as a guide for policy decisions and public investments, outlining a vision for growth and addressing long-term needs through 2040. It confronts major challenges such as changing demographics, the need for economic diversification, and regional coordination. A key implementation strategy involves a transect approach to land management, categorizing areas into Urban, Village, Transitional, Rural, and Natural districts to guide appropriate development, public services, and resource allocation.
