Work includes approx. 42,750 SF of asphalt shingle roofing system, including asphalt shingles, ice and water barrier, underlayment, metal drip edge, and flashing; 2,850 SF of installation of a nominal 45-mil to 60-mil mechanically attached or fully-adhered single-ply membrane roofing system or approved equal, a minimum 1/4", thick cover board, and polyisocyanurate tapered insulation to create grade. Work will also include the evaluation of the existing roof decking, particularly at remediation areas identified in the drawings. If any damaged, deteriorated, wet, or inadequate sheathing is found, the Engineer should be notified immediately to determine whether it should be removed and replaced.
