The sewer lift station was originally constructed in 1971 and then moved to its current location in 1991. The Old Village has 31 manholes, seven of which are precast concrete manholes, and 21 are corrugated metal pip (CMP) manholes. The sewer mains were constructed in phases from 1971 to 1991 and consist of a mix of 8" PVC pipe and 8" ductile iron pipe. Base bid – lift station rehabilitation: The contractor shall rehabilitate the old village lift station - including replacement of the pumps and control panels, removal of the settling tank and fences. Additive alternate #1 – sewer main replacement: The contractor shall replace the sewer main between manhole 3 and manhole 12 to improve slopes - including replacements of the sewer main, replacements of manholes 2 and 3, rehabilitation of manhole 12, and demolition of manhole. Additive alternate #2-rehabilitation, repair, or replacement of remaining manholes: The contractor shall rehabilitate, repair, or replace the remaining manholes not included in additive alternate 1 - including the replacement of 5 manholes, the rehabilitation of 6 manholes, and the repair of 7 manholes.
