Additionally, they reviewed a stipulation submitted by Senator-elect Paskvan concerning income disclosure requirements from his law practice and addressed a request for the recusal of a Commissioner from a specific proceeding due to impartiality concerns. The commission voted to authorize staff to work with the Department of Administration to align the honorarium with similar boards and commissions.

The commission discussed concerns regarding the MyAlaska electronic filing system and received a demonstration of the current project from a contractor. Following an update on training initiatives and user feedback, the commission reviewed a staff recommendation and unanimously decided that the requirement for electronic filing via MyAlaska should proceed as scheduled, while acknowledging the existing regulatory process for filers to request exemptions.
