This project is an improvement to an existing water treatment plant. The existing plant is to remain fully operational during construction and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements placed on the CITY by the Department of Public Health. The work includes: Sand blast and recoat Tank No. 1 and No. 2 (both interior and exterior). Remove existing baffle walls and supports in the tanks. Install new tank mixer and control panels. Replace existing cathodic protection with new cathodic protection. Replace the existing pressure transmitter with a new transmitter for both tanks. Demolish existing submersible pumps and appurtenances. Install new package lift station.
