Vera Cruz Well Abandonment Project

Description: The City of Santa Barbara seeks a qualified contractor to abandon and demolish the Vera Cruz well and vault, perform well perforation and pressure grouting, remove associated utilities, and restore the site. The work includes demolition, a down-hole video survey, casing perforation and grouting, utility abandonment, sidewalk and curb restoration, and final documentation. The project requires bid, performance, and payment bonds, prevailing-wage compliance, and completion within 30 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed; late completion carries $500-per-day liquidated damages.
