Unified Development Code (Request for Qualification)

Description: Seeking a qualified planning consultant to prepare a comprehensive Unified Development Code (UDC) that consolidates the City's development regulations into a single, modern, easy-to-administer document. The City's existing development regulations have evolved over many decades and are dispersed throughout multiple chapters of the Code of Ordinances, resulting in inconsistencies, outdated standards, duplicative provisions, and administrative inefficiencies. The City's goal is to create a development code that is legally defensible, user-friendly, graphically organized, and reflective of city's existing development goals while positioning the City for the successful completion and implementation of a future Comprehensive Plan.
