Work includes trail obstruction clearing; cutting fallen trees, limbs, branches, and other woody material obstructing navigation; clearing or opening logjams and concentrations of accumulated woody debris; cutting or trimming partially submerged or submerged woody obstructions that interfere with safe navigation;repositioning or securing woody material within the river or along the banks when appropriate and consistent with applicable environmental requirements and best management practices;removing woody material from the waterway when necessary to establish safe navigation or when material cannot appropriately remain within the river.
