Starkville Class I Rubbish Site, Final Closure Construction RFP

Description: The City of Starkville, Mississippi is accepting sealed bids for the Starkville Class I Rubbish Site, Final Closure Construction, which involves construction of a Final Cover System for Final Closure of the Starkville Class I Rubbish Site (the city's landfill located on Rockhill Road). Bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, Starkville City Hall, 110 West Main Street, Starkville, MS 39759, until 10:00 A.M. on August 26, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contractors submitting bids exceeding $50,000 must display their Certificate of Responsibility Number (per Section 31-3-21 and 31-3-15 of the Mississippi Code of 1972); a 5% bid bond or certified check is required, and the successful bidder must furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds, with bid documents available via www.cityofstarkvilleplans.org.
