SS-26-00412 - Fire Alarm Service Maintenance and Monitoring

Description: Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to Siemens Industry, Inc. for ongoing and as-needed maintenance, monitoring, and repair services to fire alarm systems in County buildings for one (1) year at an estimated cost of $80,012.50. The fire alarm systems at County Center and Edgecomb Courthouse require specialized technical knowledge, authorized diagnostics, and compatible components, and Siemens Industry, Inc. is deemed the sole provider capable of servicing the County's proprietary fire alarm systems, per Section 3-205(2)(b) of the County's Procurement Policy. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/bids; contractors wishing to challenge the intended award must submit clear and convincing information supporting such a challenge via the EUNA Procurement portal no later than the Close Date, after which the County will determine whether to conduct the procurement competitively.
