City of Kent - Water Reclamation Facility Headworks Improvements
Work includes removal and demolition of existing grit building no. 1 and no. 2 , detritus tank no. 1 and no. 2, screen, compactor, and screen building, and overflow gate and flow meter, along with associated concrete channels and structures. Removal includes removal of control panels, wiring and related equipment and appurtenances. Construction of a new headworks building with screens, screening compactors, grit washer and classifier, electrical room, and basement with access to grit pumps. The work shall also include construction of a grit tank and installation of new equipment. The work shall also include concrete restoration and replacement, asphalt pavement; all electrical, SCADA, and IT work necessary for installation and operation of new equipment installed; site restoration, as required.
