SCRP261071 (Scrap Bus Sale) RFP

Description: Port Authority of Allegheny County, doing business as Pittsburgh Regional Transit, is offering 28 decommissioned New Flyer D60LFR and Gillig G27D102N4 buses for scrap on an “as-is, where-is” basis, with a separate price bid required for each bus. The purchaser must arrange removal from Harmar Garage within 15 days of award and provide a cashier’s check for the total purchase price within five days of notification; the sale offers no warranties and assigns transportation, tire and rim disposal, and property-damage liabilities to the purchaser.
