Rental Car Facility (RCF) Quick Turn Around (QTA) Area Fire Suppression System Replacement *Re-bid*

Description: The project's scope of work is removal, disposal and replacement of the existing AFFF-PFAS (Aqueous Film-Forming Foam - Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) fire suppression system at the Rental Car Facility (RCF). The scope would include the design and installation of a dry system. The work would include the disposal and replacement of PFAS-containing AFFF concentrate and AFFF contaminated tanks, valves, pumps, sprinkler lines, sprinkler heads, and reserve tanks, some of which are expected to classify as State-listed Dangerous Waste, requiring handling and disposal in accordance with Washington State Dangerous Waste codes and requirements. The new work would need to tie into the existing Fire Alarm System. The QTA construction will be phased so that only one Quick Turn Around (QTA) will be decommissioned a time. Contractor is also to provide fire-watch during shutdowns and decommissioning timeframes.
