Southerly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station (STDPS) Project
General, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: construct the STDPS on the mining site of the Southerly tunnel after the tunnel contractor demobilizes from that site. Complete the build-out of the mining shaft to serve as the pump station's wet well. Construct an at-grade building above the wet well to house the pump station's support systems. Connect the pump station's discharge to an existing flow drop structure. Complete the construction and outfitting of facilities remote from STDPS that were constructed under the Southerly Tunnel and consolidation (SOTC) and Kingsbury run consolidation sewer (KRCS) projects; some of NEORSD's existing facilities that predate these projects also require modification. Commission the Southerly Tunnel system and turn over a fully functional system to the NEORSD.
