Southerly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station (STDPS) Project *REBID*

Description: The STDPS will be a submersible pump station of nominal 54 MGD capacity. The submersible pumps will be installed in the 65-ft diameter by 180-ft deep mining shaft designed and partially built out by others at the southern end of the Southerly Storage Tunnel. The STDPS Project will complete the build-out of the shaft, converting it into the pump station's wet well. A pump station support building will be constructed at grade over the wet well; it will contain an electrical room, a control room, restrooms, a meeting/work space and a large space around the wet well to support operation and maintenance activities associated with the submersible pumps and a deep bar screen raking system.
