Martin County Tropical Farms Water Treatment Plant Expansion (Request for Proposals)
Furnish all labor and materials necessary to construct an 4.6 mgd reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plant expansion of County’s existing Tropical Farms water treatment facility, including the following: soil preparation; site clearing and grading, paving, and drainage; yard piping; landscaping restoration; construction of RO process building expansion including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc. to house additional 4.6 mgd of treatment capacity.; RO process equipment for a 4.6 mgd treatment capacity RO plant, including two (2) 2.3 mgd capacity RO trains; raw water and pretreatment equipment; chemical systems including pumps, tanks, piping, and controls for sulfuric acid, scale inhibiter, chlorine, caustic, and ammonia systems; cleaning system piping improvements; post-treatment system including degasifier, blowers, and scrubber system, concrete clearwell improvements, and transfer pumps; modifications of existing chemical systems and scrubber system; high service pump additions; valves; piping; instrumentation; electrical and SCADA system equipment; painting and coatings; new 3.0-MG ground storage tank and related appurtenances and all accessory items to provide a complete operating system as depicted in the project documents.
