Summary
The Village of Mamaroneck, acting through its Office of the Village Manager, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Planning, Engineering, and Design Services to reduce flood risk and improve resiliency on the Beaver Swamp Brook in the Rye Neck section of the Village. The project will evaluate flood mitigation alternatives, engineering analysis and concept-level design, address channel constriction at a pedestrian bridge and a gravity sanitary sewer pipe, and explore installing a sanitary pump station at the Continental View Condominiums with a sanitary force main and a wider-span pedestrian bridge. The procurement is funded by a HUD Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) allocation administered through the New York State Homes and Community Renewal's (HCR) Resilient Investments through Support and Capital (RISC) program, via the Office of Resilient Homes and Communities / Housing Trust Fund Corporation.
