Overhead Transmission and Distribution Emergency

Description: This open Invitation For Bid is a services procurement, not a grant program, for emergency storm restoration on the City of Naperville's overhead 12kV, 34.5kV, and 138kV electrical systems. Work includes repairing conductors and pole equipment, auguring holes, transferring or stringing primary and secondary wire, and replacing or installing poles, with contractors supplying labor, equipment, tools, safety plans, and qualified personnel. The initial contract runs through December 31, 2027 with two possible two-year extensions, and bids are due October 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time with a 10% bid deposit required.
