Oakley Dam Outlet Works Remediation Project – Extend Steel Conduit

Description: Goose Creek Flood Control District #16 is soliciting bids for the extension of the existing steel outlet works from the existing steel liner to a new valve structure. Bids are due September 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. local time at the offices of Parsons, Loveland, Shirley & Lindstrom, LLP, in Burley, Idaho. Bidding documents are available through a designated drop box after bidder registration, and a pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Oakley Canal Company office and via Zoom.

To replace the existing 30" valves to enhance the operation and efficiency of water releases within the outlet works. Electrical inspection, design, and installation: Inspect the power system. Complete electrical design based on provided baseline and inspection results. Provide design documentation signed by a U.S. registered Electrical Engineer. Perform demolition and installation of electrical equipment. Electrical equipment to include panels, fuses, conduit, and conductors. Remove two (2) existing fixed-cone valves and the following peripheral equipment: Valve supports including anchors. Pipe spool piece. Valve actuators. Conductors, cables, and conduit associated with the valve actuators.

Rattlesnake Dam Outlet Pipe Rehabilitation
The project includes approx. 690 LF of 30” Pipe Cleaning, SIPP Liner;, replacement of two 30" butterfly valves and one 24" butterfly valve and actuators, improvements to existing valve stem extensions and appurtenances, installation of new air vent piping, and removal of an existing outlet structure. The District has pre-purchased the two 30" butterfly valves, one 24" butterfly valve, and the actuators for this project.
