North Beach Stormwater Quality Improvements RFP

Description: This project targets seven (7) strategically selected outfalls for the installation of Hydrodynamic Separator (HDS) systems, to intercept and treat stormwater before it reaches the canal. These systems operate via gravity flow, making them ideal for retrofitting into existing infrastructure with minimal energy or maintenance demands. By capturing sediments, oils, floatable, and associated pollutants, the HDS units will significantly reduce contaminant loads and improve water quality in both the canal and downstream receiving waters.
