Closing soonMulching Newly Planted Areas
Description: REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractor for the provision of everything required (including all skilled labour, tools, materials and equipment) to carry out designated work associated with installing mulch (provided by the City) to newly planted natural areas.
OVERVIEW
The annual work program will be provided by the City, and work will be scheduled in advance.
The work must be done in accordance with:
* British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association Standards
* City of Surrey Construction Standards
Mulching is the manual application, typically by wheelbarrows and plastic garbage cans, of organic mulch/wood chip material around each plant in recently planted areas.
Mulch materials are usually trucked to the site by the Contractor from the Surrey Operations Centre (works yard) or delivered to the site by the City.
