The strategy aims to mitigate deer-human conflicts and manage the urban deer population within the social carrying capacity of its residents, not to eliminate it. It outlines management options focusing on conflict reduction, population reduction (including a controlled managed hunt), and public education, outreach, and enforcement, emphasizing long-term success through behavioral changes and widespread tool implementation.

This Regional Transit Study Final Report for the Town of Truro and the Municipality of Colchester addresses the community's identified need for public transit. It comprehensively assesses and designs transit service concepts based on policy review, demographic analysis, and extensive public and stakeholder engagement.
