The Council recognized achievements of local students and athletes. The Mayor provided reports on community events, facility openings, and economic initiatives. Various committee minutes were received, and several bylaws were adopted, including those regarding highway dedication, sign regulations, and fire services. The Council approved various park naming and concept plans, financial assistance for heritage properties, and corporate reports on topics such as zoning amendments, real property disposition, public art installations, and municipal infrastructure contracts. Additionally, the Council addressed a water restriction update and directed staff to assess the feasibility of an Affordable Workforce Housing Program.

The council meeting addressed multiple land use applications, including rezonings, development permits, variance permits, and official community plan amendments for residential and business park projects. Key outcomes included the approval of several bylaw readings and the referral of a mixed-use proposal back to staff for refinement. The Council meeting involved hearings to consider recommendations from the Building Inspector regarding the filing of notices on title for properties at 13466 - 87A Avenue and 12464 - 77A Avenue due to unpermitted construction and non-compliance with the Community Charter. Council reviewed evidence of unpermitted additions and dwelling units for both properties. For the 13466 - 87A Avenue property, Council resolved to file a notice on title. For the 12464 - 77A Avenue property, Council heard from the owner regarding their intent to bring the property into compliance, denied a request for an adjournment, and subsequently resolved to file a notice on title.
