The West Broad St. Multimodal Improvements project (Falls Church, VA) will upgrade sidewalks, intersections, bicycle access, and transit stops along West Broad Street between Virginia Avenue and West Street. The City’s project page lists sidewalk widening, intersection redesign, bicycle routes, bus shelter/stop adjustments, and a new mid-block crossing, but I could not locate a buyer-posted solicitation document or bid posting for this specific opportunity on the City's solicitations pages or in the aggregator excerpt. Related Broad Street multimodal projects also exist in other Virginia jurisdictions (Henrico County and VDOT/Waynesboro), so the aggregator listing may refer to one of several jurisdictional projects.

Work includes fence repair, storm window, remove and replace leaking supply and drain pipes from first floor bathroom shower/tub. Replace the flexible dryer vent with a solid walled galvanized vent pipe. Install outlet, switch, and junction box cover plates at all locations where missing in basement walls and ceiling. Remove all not-in-use wiring and cables. Cap not-in-use gas line. Remove existing furnaces and install new replacement, ul listed heating systems for 1st and 2nd floor dwellings. Electric furnaces to be sized to properly heat each household unit. Units to have a 15 year manufacturer's warranty. Provide material necessary to connect heating units to existing duct system and correct any defective ductwork or install any missing ductwork. Install new thermostats if necessary.
