Marquette County Elevator Modernization (Request for Proposals)

Description: The objective of this project is to modernize the county's elevators by replacing aging operating equipment, incorporating current code-required safety features, and delivering fully operational, code-compliant elevators. The county also seeks to minimize disruption to building operations, particularly at the county annex building and county jail, through careful scheduling and the use of overtime or extended work hours where appropriate, new solid-state microprocessor controller and controller cabinet; controller programming, wiring modifications, startup and commissioning; new car operating panel (cop) with Ada-compliant pushbuttons, braille, emergency lighting, alarm, digital position indicator and cellular emergency communication; new hall operating panels (hops) and associated indicators as required; replace the existing door operator, along with installing door lock monitoring (dlm), and associated hoistway interlock modifications; replace the following items as part of this project: car doors, car door gibs, car door clutch or vane, car door reversal device, hoistway door (pick up rollers, gibs, fire tabs), hoistway door interlocks, pit stop switch, pit ladder, packing.
