MANK-28-McElroy F Hall Upgrades (Request for Proposal)

Description: Upgrades within all resident rooms and add laundry facilities on each floor. This wing contains 95 student rooms, with slight variations to configurations. Approx. Size of an average resident room is 169 SF. The project includes the following anticipated scope of work: conversion of one residence room on each floor into a laundry room. First floor laundry room to have a new mechanical room added within the space to accommodate new MAHU and electrical panel servicing the new laundry facilities on all floors. Roof and exterior wall penetrations will be required for dryer vents and exhaust. Window removal on first floor required for louvre. Removal of original VCT and wall base in residence rooms. Removal of existing wall hung lavatories in residence rooms. Removal and rebuilding of existing lavatory walls in residence rooms. Removal and replacement of existing overhead shelving in residence rooms. Removal of existing coaxial cables in residence rooms. Installation of new LVT and wall base in residence rooms, kitchens, and trash rooms. Installation of new custom-made vanities in residence rooms; patch and repair affected wall areas; minor electrical modifications may be required. Installation of new corner guards in residence rooms. Repair of residence rooms ceilings that require it. Patching and painting where required.
