M/V LAWSON Wheel Repairs RFP

Description: Propeller Reconditioning: The M/V LAWSON has three 52" diameter, four-bladed, Kaplan 19A propellers. The wheels are made of an Aqualoy alloy, are currently removed from the vessel, and are stored in palleted crates. All three have minor damage that will need to be repaired and reconditioned. Certain areas have more extensive damage as described below. The general status of each propeller is as follows: Port Wheel (Standard Rotation)- Has a one leading-edge blade tip that is deflected 90-degress forward over an area of approximately 6"-8". Has another leading-edge deformation that is deflected 30-degrees forward over an area of approx. 6"-8". Other minor nicks and damage from routine use and wear. See attached file.
