Description The University of Washington (University or UW) is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to provide general contractor/construction management (GC/CM) services for the 205860 wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House Phase 2 project. Project Description: 7,200 SF building to support American Indian, Alaska Native, and Indigenous (AI/AN/I) students. Phase 2 represents the continuation of a longstanding Indigenous community vision for the wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House and will include spaces for student lounge, multi-generational knowledge sharing, and Indigenous arts. Respecting the history and vision of the wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House, the design vernacular of Phase 2 is intended to complement the existing Phase 1 building, which supports community gathering and teaching.
