Pre-Advertisement Notice for DWM Peachtree Raw Water Pump Station Project RFP
Procurement of a qualified progressive design-builder to provide design, preconstruction, and construction services for the raw water pump station (prwps) improvements. The scope includes, but is not limited to, rehabilitation and replacement of existing pumps, improvements to pump buildings 1 and 2, electrical distribution system improvements, evaluation of raw water main alternatives, and development of a dedicated raw water main serving pumps 1 and 2. Interested firms during the prequalification phase must demonstrate experience and capacity successfully delivering progressive design-build or comparable water infrastructure projects, including the professional design and engineering expertise, construction capabilities, staffing, project management, and resources necessary to perform work of similar size, scope, and complexity. Firms must demonstrate the ability to coordinate design and construction activities, advance the project design, perform constructability and cost evaluations, and support development of a guaranteed maximum price (gmp) prior to construction.

Bell County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 is soliciting construction bids for Bid Package 9 at its Raw Water Pump Station. The work includes removing the existing RW-9 pump; installing CMAR-furnished RW-9 and RW-10 pumps and medium-voltage variable-frequency drives; and completing electrical and control upgrades, modifications to Electrical Building No. 2, HVAC, coatings, testing, startup, and training. Demolition of the RW-10 pumping unit is excluded because the District has already removed it.
