The City of Marina is soliciting sealed proposals for the Imjin Parkway & 3rd Avenue Intersection Improvements Project, which includes installation of traffic signals, traffic signal foundations and cabinets, conduit and wiring, street lighting, sidewalk and ADA curb ramp work, curb and gutter, median reconstruction, drainage inlets, and signing and striping improvements. Proposals must be received by the City Engineer at 209 Cypress Avenue, Marina, CA, by 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026; bidders must possess the appropriate Contractor license (Class A or C-10) and comply with California prevailing wage and public works registration requirements. Street will be expanded to 4 lanes in the east and west directions including a left turn lane. The intersection will have new sidewalks and ADA-compliant curb ramps on each leg of the intersection. New traffic signals will be installed on each leg of the intersection as well. In addition, new pavement striping and signage will be installed. The project also includes the milling and overlaying improvements of existing asphalt pavement with portland cement concrete for improvements at the street and avenue intersection. The project includes new traffic signals at the intersection, new sidewalks, new pavement markings and signage.
