Dollar General Lift Station
As part of the project, the current station will remain in place during construction. The upgrades to the system will include a new influent gravity sewer into the wet well, new pumps, piping, and appurtenances will be placed withing the existing wet well but, a new valve vault structure will be installed. The project will also involve the installation of a new electrical system, controls, and an on-site emergency generator. Additionally, the site will gain a curb cut from hwy 321 to the driveway, to improve access and maintenance for city staff. California street pump station will also receive new pumps and electrical components as a part of this project.

The work includes installation of emergency generator sets at both the Valley View and Cleveland Avenue lift stations to power existing equipment at each station. Each generator will be installed inside a weatherproof sound attenuating enclosure. This work shall include the installation of new reinforced concrete pads, all electrical and mechanical work, connection to the City’s existing SCADA system, and associated site restoration.

Lift Station No. 2 Rehabilitation
The work is described in general, non-inclusive below: 1. Civil Components: Elevation of wet well and valve vault, grading, vegetation removal, sodding, fence and gate removal and reinstallation, and site restoration. 2. Mechanical Components: Removal and replacement of the gate valves, check valves, and pump out connection within the existing valve vault. Installation of pipe supports. Removal and replacement of the pump guide rails to accommodate the new wet well height. Installation of new access hatches with fall protection. Contractor shall provide bypassing pumping system required for rehabilitation of lift station. 3. Electrical Components: Removal and replacement of the Lift Station control panel. Contractor to provide new termination boxes, equipment racks, grounding, and installation of new level floats.
