The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District seeks a contractor to mechanically dredge approximately 3,355 cubic yards of shoaled material from a 1,200-foot channel at Isle au Haut Thoroughfare in Maine. The work includes dredging to the authorized depth and placing the material at the Flake Island Disposal Site. Work must occur within the seasonal dredging window while protecting shellfish, benthic resources, essential fish habitat, threatened and endangered species, and fishing gear.

Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Maintenance Dredging
The work includes maintenance dredging of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) channel. The maintenance dredging work will consist of removal of shoaled material that has accumulated in the channels since the various areas were last dredged. Dredging depths are from 8-12’ plus 2’ of allowable over depth for the AIWW channels.
