Katy Management District No. 1 is soliciting contractors to install approximately 18,500 feet of water reuse pipeline (6"–12") in and around Katy, Texas across five segments, including reconfiguration of certain mall entrance drives. Bidders must provide a bid bond (or certified check) of at least 2% of the total bid, submit bids on provided forms and include required Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295; a virtual pre-bid is scheduled for 2026-01-08 and bid opening is scheduled for 2026-01-15 at City of Katy City Hall. Project documents (Project Manual and Project Drawings, both “Issued for Bid”) were posted to the planroom on 2025-12-18 and require sign-in to download.

Work includes the installation of approx. 18,500' of water reuse pipelines from the city wastewater treatment plant, sizes ranging from 6" to 12". In addition to the water reuse pipeline, this project also includes the reconfiguration of the mall entrance drives, by closing in certain entrances as shown in the plans. 1 ls mobilization (not to exceed 3% of total bid), complete in place, the sum of; 1 ls traffic control and regulation, complete in place, the sum of; 1 ls critical investigation work (includes locating existing underground utilities and pipelines as needed to facilitate water line construction), complete in place, the sum of; 52 ea inlet protection barrier, complete in place, the sum of.
