The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Brighter Futures Initiative (BFI) Program in Regions 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7. The purpose of the RFP is to provide interested parties with information to prepare and submit a proposal for BFI programming with one of three program objectives: prevent and reduce youth violence and delinquent behavior; prevent and reduce youth alcohol and other drug use and abuse; or increase adolescent self-sufficiency through high school graduation, vocational preparedness, and improved interpersonal skills. Eligible applicants include county or tribal departments of social service or human services, tribal child welfare agencies, or community mental health/developmental disabilities/alcohol and drug abuse service programs.
