Work inlcudes structured cabling system.
Description: Supply and install a wall-mounted enclosure near the existing camera system, extending existing internet/network services and power to the new location. 9th floor intermediate distribution frame (idf) & fiber backbone (optional alternate): install a wall-mounted enclosure on the 9th floor, run a fiber backbone from the new mdf to the 9th floor idf, and terminate/test all fiber. Cutover & demolition: maintain existing network uptime during installation. Remove and dispose of designated unmanaged hubs, obsolete patch cords, and abandoned cabling upon successful cutover.

The U.S. Embassy in Nicosia issued a presolicitation (19CY6026Q0022) for the supply and installation of fiber optic (structured cabling) at the West Office Building in Engomi, Nicosia, Cyprus. The government plans to issue the full solicitation in July 2026 and intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation, possibly awarding on initial offers without discussion; a pre-proposal conference will be scheduled in the forthcoming solicitation. Prospective offerors must be registered in SAM and submit offers both by mail to the contracting office and electronically to NicosiaContracting@state.gov (email submissions limited to ~15MB); no solicitation document was posted at the time of the notice.
