This Contract provides for the fragmentation blasting of two corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culverts using controlled explosives on Clear Creek, along decommissioned FS Road No. 6101000-1.61-R. This work will result in the removal of two culvert structures (C12 & C14) and creation of an open stream channel includes 1 LS clearing & site preparation, 1 LS pre/post blast condition survey, 1 LS blasting operations: culvert removal, 1 LS restoration.

The purpose of the proposed project is to remove 135 feet of 24" culverts that crosses under US199 and Demaray Drive and replace it with 135 LF of 24" culvert. The new culvert will be tied back into existing manhole on the shoulder in the multi-use path and daylight into the ditch on the other side.

Fuel shall be bid on delivered basis to each location. Bidder shall deliver fuel within 24 hours or sooner after receiving the order (excluding weekends and holidays). 2. Diesel fuel shall be Ultra-Low or Dyed Diesel and shall be of quality for use in trucks, tractors, equipment, and mowers. 3. Gasoline shall be Unleaded Regular and have a minimum octane rating of 87. 4. Gasoline shall not contain more than 10% or whatever maybe required for this area of alcohol, gasohol, methanol additives, substitute or blends. Fuel, gasoline or diesel shall not be contaminated with any foreign matter or impurities such as water, dirt, trash, etc. Bidder will be disqualified as a supplier to the City of Hallettsville if any of the above additives are found. 5. The Contractor to whom the bid is awarded must label all fuel tanks and supply the City with material safety data sheets. 6. Bids should include State Taxes (stated separately) for gasoline and ULS diesel fuel, and exclude taxes for dyed diesel fuel. 7.
