Component Rehabilitation of 8 Bridges in the Borough of Bronx

Description: Work includes rehabilitation of 8 bridges. Sawcut existing roadway pavement. Mill 3. 5"of asphalt pavement. Remove material in the trolley track recess. Inspect substrate and perform localized concrete and pavement subbase repairs where directed by the engineer. Place lightweight concrete fill in the trolley track recess. Install waterproofing membrane on bridge and new asphalt overlay on bridge and approaches. Clean and reset existing catch basin. Slope new pavement towards catch basin. Remove and replace sidewalks and curbs. Protect sand filled utility.
