Work under this Contract consists of the construction of a fully functional potable water high service pump station with an installed capacity of 3,300 GPM, along with a 1.2 million gallon ground storage tank and all site, work, connections and appurtenances included for each. Additional off-site work includes rehabilitation of one existing underground revenue meter vault, replacement of one existing revenue meter vault with an above ground pre-fabricated structure, and the construction of two pressure regulating valve stations, housed within above ground pre-fabricated structures.

Gulf Beach Water Booster Station Improvements RFP
The recent water system master plan identified improvements to this booster station as a priority to address overall condition, performance, and increase resiliency of the facility to meet operational expectations and current industry standards. The county has recently undergone multiple water quality improvement and booster station upgrade projects starting at the north end of the county and working its way downstream to the south. The gulf beach water booster station is the next location within the pinellas county capital improvement program scheduled for upgrades. Improvements will include a new two-story building, replacement of booster pumps, motors, new variable frequency drives, electrical delivery system, chemical feed system and either portable or permanent generator power with automatic and/or manual transfer switch. The design improvements incorporate the mitigation of flood and storm surges and improved security for the overall resilience and safety of the facility.
