Description: The City of Farmington (IL) will receive sealed bids for Project 2602-2, "City of Farmington - Wall Repair Phase 2," which generally includes repair of exterior masonry walls, installation of new metal panels over exterior masonry walls, and some interior renovation. Bids must be submitted to the Mayor's office at 322 E Fort St. #101, Farmington, IL 61531 and will be received until 1:00pm prevailing time on 08-27-2026; a public bid opening will follow immediately after closing. Specifications and drawings are available by email from the Office of the Architect (Graham & Hyde Architects, Inc.) and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the project site; bidders must provide a 5% bid bond and the successful bidder will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds and comply with prevailing wage laws.
