Description: The San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority is seeking public works construction services to increase utility power distribution across the Treasure Island Ferry Terminal in San Francisco Bay. The work includes trenching, conduit and conductor installation, concrete pads, installation of an owner-furnished transformer and switchgear, utility coordination, and site restoration from the utility tie-in to the end of the fixed pier. A C-10 licensed contractor is required.

WETA is seeking construction work to reconfigure the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, including in-water construction and demolition, new and refurbished structures, utility extensions and relocations, and placement of the WETA Standard Float. The project will move the float away from areas with heavy sediment accumulation to reduce maintenance dredging and improve ferry operations. WETA says the project is intended to reduce passenger disruption, improve service reliability, and save approximately $21 million over 20 years.
